C5 2.2hdi passenger side heater only running hot?

hi , my C5 2.2hdi exclusive is playing up today. the wife noticed that she could not adjust the heater on her side was just running hot. Everything ok on the driver side. Can anyone help, heard something about resetting the ecu??? or a heater motor resistor under the passenger side has gone???

Its the motor that controls the hot/cold air distribution. Citroen released a modified one with a longer drive shaft. See the picture below for the revised part...



Its a common problem for MKI C5's with climate control, new motor is about £80.

You get in through the glove box.
Picture of disassembly in the link below.
The faulty motor is item 3 at bottom right, part number 6447TK.
