I have the same problem. DS5 that I have beed driving is manufactured in 2016. 2.0HDi, 133kw/180bhp
I have tried iPhone SE & iPhone 12 Pro.
Both connecting and then disconnecting rendomly.
Then connect again and so on.
Android phone Samsung A55 stays connected conctantly.

My VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Maps and OS are latest according to the MyDS...

The air bags need to be booked.

I did a scan today on my reader, and no P0016 would have thought my reader would have been able to pick that code up but my mechanic reader cost a lot of money, I have a ANCEL DS200.

The wires can and do break inside the flexible sleeve without the sleeve showing any ill effects.

Our 2015 308 uses R1234yf so I would think yours would too. I believe that the connectors are different to prevent accidental filling up with the wrong gas.

Yes the engine fan works, but I have to replace the thermostat because it stays open and does not usually exceed 75°

Could be the motors that move the various flaps are not working or the flaps might be stuck. A diagnostic should help.

My daughter's previous DS3 with the same engine was sold at 90k miles, was regularly serviced, and she did not ever have that error. Your car has approximately 49k miles, so assuming yours has been maintained adequately and driven sensibly it could well be the sensor as Paul suggests.

Do you found the problem? It happened me the same, when give 12v+ directly to the right side motor everything works. I found a 30A fuse that s not getting current with ignition on. I'm having a bad Time finding the right diagram for my fuse box (BSI?)

One solution might be to get a used radio, they do not seem to cost too much but it will need your car vin putting in to it via a diagnostic or it will keep beeping. One example on ebay but you would need to check if it is correct for your car.

Note also 75W 90 is much more readily available, and lots of reports of it giving an inferior gear change feel on Peugeot Citroen gearboxes (versus the correct 75W80)

Yes - All 4 Coil Packs were replaced. They were checked today by a new mechanic and they were clean and fine he said. Also I had all Spark plugs changed apparently they were worn all 4.

So after a full service and spark plugs changed. The car is still shaking and becomes noticeable when then engine gets hotter. I've noticed the engine bay...

I've found that steel workers snips are good for those pinch together connections

You need to read this topic and check if you need the front air bags replacing, if so you are advised not to use your car by Citroen/DS

If you fit the same type and rating of battery as is already fitted then there should be no problem. The only wrinkle might be is if a previous owner has fitted a lesser rated battery.

If it is like the Pluriel it will be dirty cables/gear unit.

People oil them, which attracts more dirt...........which then clogs the gear unit with a paste/dirt mix and fills the cable teeth

Hello. Mine is 2018 as well, and I did recall action 2 weeks ago (second hand as well). Just call ds service give them your reg and they will tell you what's what. Do not go to Ds Leicester... they are butchers... They scratch my tailgate replacing lamp, and they try to con me that my ds7 got oil leak.... not to mention that they broke some clips...

same issue found on a friends ds5. the 2 sides were removed and repainted with a pretty close colour match at a local body shop.

That’s possible, but I’d be truly staggered if a main dealer would even entertain it as an option to fit customer supplied parts, tbh.

It is possible the car did not have footwell lights when built. If you post your VIN, admin might be able to look up your car characteristics/build sheet to see if it had them when built.
