Would it be possible to let me know what additive is needed for my car ?

The car is exactly 100k miles.
My mechanic topped the tank for the first time with a white bottle saying POWERFLEX on it and i hope it can be mixed with the original additive.
After around 7 months and around 5k miles the counter was reset...

I'd give them a wide berth, he is obviously incompetent and the attitude sucks. You have a choice and made the right decision to go elsewhere. If anything had happened, he would of denied he was the cause.

Hi Carole,
Tried all the above cures and failed miserably.
The Xantia was not that old at the time so had to buy a new battery contact lug with screw fittings to clamp the wire.

We have not been afflicted by the Steering Rack failure but both of our X7 models are conventional suspension.
Could LDS be causing the failures with the X7 racks? I know earlier models were not affected, but is it possible that the seals in the earlier racks were designed for LDS? Later racks were they designed for Power Steering fluid? Or are...

Hi Jay , I think you are right the most logical approach to this is to use the best available materials I had considered galvanized fittings but I have had a few experiences with calipers that were just rotted together with galvanized fittings.
