Some of you may have seen my posts on here when my 2015 Grand picasso suffered the all too common adblue pump failure with persistently screaming pump and Service light on, engine fault light and urea light on.
Diagbox says leak/ low urea pressure.
It is worth noting that diagbox says pressure is 4 bar even when its actually zero.It does not...

Two years ago I was forced to change rear hydraulic pipes on my ’09 x7 2.2HDi cause one of them leaks. Whereas the pipes was unavailable to buy here I decided to create substitute from original. I resolved MOT problem with a separate MOT cap:
I removed the rubber flap, and drilled six 5 mm(?) holes to the cap.
Not sure about the drill size (dont remember), but when you remove the rubber flap, you can see good places for the holes from the inside of the cap.

Our Skoda recognises road sign speed limits accurately overriding anything in the maps. However in areas without road signs that are 30mph limits it often thinks there are sections of 20mph limits and gives overspeed warning beeps as I will be doing up to 30 if safe. The AC started making a scratchy sound on my car recently.

When the engine is being revved, the noise goes away.

Turn the AC off and the noise goes away...

Turn the AC back on, noise comes back, and the AUX belt starts jumping around.

The temperature gauge never gets to 90° or even close, always stays at around 70-75°..

I have no data on when the radiator fan should come on, but the thermostat should begin to open at 89'C and be fully open at 101'C.
The engine coolant outlet temp is typically around 90-95'C. In that case I would not expect the radiator fan to come on before 100'C.
Have you put the car on an OBD scanner yet? I bet the scanner shows correct temps...

Is it best practice to remove the fuel filter housing to replace the filter?

The guy in this video removes it completely to clean it and, I guess, open it in an environment where nothing can fall in.

I know the older model required the fuel filter housing to be removed for replacement. But this seems like it could be done without removing...

With the top off you can see inside the housing and if you want you can wipe it out. Ours looked clean and running a finger in the bottom did not get it dirty, this was with the diesel sucked out. For the top I do not have a 24 mm socket but a 15/16th inch one fits.

Hi all, I found the rear tyres on the c5 have excess wear on the inner shoulder as though the toe is excessive. These are 3 year old tyres and have done about 19k miles.

Checked just now with the track ace and the rear shows as being 30 degree minutes toe out at the rear. It's a bit toe out but I wouldn't have thought that was very excessive (?)...

I recently changed the fuel filter on my C4 Grand Picasso with the 1.6 HDi 9HZ (DV6TED4) engine.
When I tried to prime the system using the rubber hand pump (the priming bulb above the engine), I pressed it around 500 times but it never sent any fuel to the filter.

So i finally managed to get a diagbox working on the car and I think its the pressure sensor that is causing the P1490 and P1447 codes to come up - note the differential pressure sensor is reading ZERO despite the car running at 1216 RPM at 52 kmh...
