I have bog-standard Air Con on/off and find that it cycles from cold to hot when in use especially when travelling in urban areas at reduced speeds. Turning the temperature control from blue to red and back again sometimes seems to bring the cooling back on fairly quickly (or could by my imagination as it was caused by the cycling effect referred to above). Has anyone experienced this before and found the reason please?

I find that once mine reaches the set temperature it wil periodically flip from warm to cold briefly, presumably as the temperature overshoots that set and it brings it up or down a little to correct it.
