Diesel Pump Emergency Stop lever Locations

If your Diesel Engine will not switch off at the ignition switch because the stop solenoid has failed say, here are the emergency stop lever locations for both Lucas and Bosch pumps.

This is the Lucas Emergency Stop lever. Push it in the direction of the arrow away from the idle speed adjuster screw head.



This is the Lucas with the lever operated to the Stop position.



And this is the Bosch. Push it in the direction of the big arrow.
