Stratford CCC meet: Anyone planning on going?

Post by CitroJim »

This coming weekend (August 29-31) sees the Citroen Car Club (CCC) Midland Section Rally take place at the Stratford On Avon Racecourse.

Anyone planning on going? I'm planning to be there on the Sunday.

You don't have to be a member of the CCC to attend. All are welcome but naturally it helps if you turn up in a Citroen :D

It should be a good do. A good contingent from the BX Club will be there in some numbers and I'll more than likely be found amongst them in my Red Activa. The BX club lads plan to swap a diesel pump and fit an aircon to a BX during the weekend.

Normally, the BX lads are not hard to spot

I'll be taking my Lexia along for the use of anyone who would like a diagnostics session.

I do hear a rumour that a group are planning a race around the course and they don't intend to use vehicles of the four-legged variety

I might pop up on sunday. it will be a nice long trip for the Xantia!
Wouldn't mind seeing the BX guys doing the diesel pump swap.
What time does it open and close?

Who else, apart from Jim, is planning on going then?

It'll be great to see you there :D I'm (or my car is) not hard to spot.. Just look for a very shiny red Activa with a very unusual "Activa" badge on the bottom of the tailgate.
