Re: Bargain Basement Electric
I had the Pod-Point type 2 tethered charger installed as soon as I bought the Zoe cost was acceptable at the time, there was a grant and I think that's been restored recently, plenty of special offers too if you look around.

Re: Bargain Basement Electric
pod point home chargers as of today.
Not for us right now Gibbo. Don't see any benefit of a £999 spend over what I do now. Not bothered in the slightest about how long it takes to charge up...It only ever needs about 10-14 kWh to replenish, 5-7 hours for a car that does 10,000 ish miles a year but is idle (as are most cars) for most of the day and all of the night.

Re: Bargain Basement Electric
Coming up 50,000 miles in 4½ years for us in the Leaf, and just ticked over the 77,000 mark overall in the last few days. All documented in the thread from Plunge-Day minus three, the back of a tab packet phase.
None of the oily stuff to do of course, but has needed a couple of handbrake cables last MOT. A relief in a way earlier Leaf's had some electronic handbrake nightmare which they ditched and used good old fashioned cables in the incarnation of the Leaf we have.
...and the next "consummable" replacement, when I get a round tuit, these.
Excellent service from Parts in Motion once more very good price and delivered free via Royal Mail tracked 48. Ordered Thursday afternoon, delivered this morning.
