Hello all,
I have Citroen c5 x7 - 2011 with NG4 navigation. I did some modifications on the interior and now it is with Exclusive + saloon, previously was Exclusive. So the car was parked for more than 3 weeks. Since then I have problem with my microphone when I want to make calls via bluetooth. I'm able to hear the receivers of the call, but they can't hear me. I tried to reconnect my phone again with the system, but it didn't work. Do you have any idea what I can do? Every cable seems to be attached properly to the NG4 panel. There is nothing missing.
Thanks in advance!

Re: NG4 Bluetooth microphone not working
Can you explain what you did, as I don't understand what modifications you made?
1) Exclusive / Exclusive plus - there's no such model, it is just Exclusive. The only differences will be the optional extras and feature packs ordered at factory when the order was placed.
2) Are you saying you have installed the NG4 system in the car that did not have it originally?
Best to pop your VIN up so I can see what your car originally had.

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
2) No, the car originally has NG4. I changed the front and back seats, all door panels, the dashboard and the center console.

Re: NG4 Bluetooth microphone not working
As this had an original NG4 system fitted, the only thing I can think of is that you have disturbed a wiring loom whilst you were doing whatever it was with the centre console that has affected the microphone.
One way to possibly confirm this is to use the internal telephone (requires active SIM card) not the bluetooth telephone. If the same behaviour is happening when making a call with the internal SIM phone then that rules out the Bluetooth issues. I would then suspect you have disturbed the microphone wiring somewhere as this goes from a ribbon cable in the ceiling where the microphone is located and disappears into the looms, so may easily have been upset whilst you were working on the centre console or other areas.

Re: NG4 Bluetooth microphone not working
Do you have any idea how this cable looks like or where exactly should be plugged in the NG4?

Re: NG4 Bluetooth microphone not working
Ok, so here are the main pinouts. The Microphone is in 'Part 'b', however, be aware that your vehicle, like mine has the service module installed. This is essentially similar to an independent telematic unit (similar but not the same), so for emergency services (SOS and Citroen Services) functions to work it uses the SIM card to make these emergency calls and geolocation features. The Services module therefore takes a lot of connections first (including the microphone) and then passes these on tot he NG4. So you won't be able to trace the wire from the ceiling as it will disappear into the loom and then go to the Service Module before being wired back to the NG4 via the quadlock.
