Back to a question I've posted before, "What is the lowest speed it goes down to?"

My C5 2.0 HDI 110 (July 2002 build) had CC added afterwards, CC only works in 4th or 5th, and at 25mph or above.
However, if you last had used CC and cancelled it using the brake or clutch, you can press the resume button (just one click of up or down speed button) and it will resume even if you are doing below 25!
Hope this helps

I've managed to run at 50Kms/h, and, as Ben says, it only works on 4th and 5th gear.
According to the manual, it should work as low as 40kms/h.
Cheers!

That might depend on the engine/gearbox.
My 807 manual says 25 or 37 mph depending on engine but doesn't bother to say which engine should be able to be set to which speed.

The speed difference will probably be due to CC requiring a minimum number of revs and minimum speed to engage.
I guess the petrol engine will start at the lower speed as the gearing is lower on petrols.

Good point.
It does have to be in 4th or 5th (manual).

Cruise control minimum speeds have been discussed before.
The conclusion that I remember was that the minimum speeds hadn't been converted from Km/h to mph, the number was the same just it said mph next to it instead of Km/h (or vice versa).

It would be fantastic if someone can supply the installation instructions for Cruise Control Kit OEM: 9452.43 [/ B] (quite similar to Waeco MS-700).

I have installed all parts in my Xantia, but still did not connect ECU with servo motor because I don't have original plug that goes to the servomotor, and I can only guess because the wire color is not the same
as with MS-700.

I looked in the German Citroen forum and asked a few Citroen dealers in Germany, but no success.

I hope that this set has been produced more than once and that someone has incorporated it into Xantia.

Thanks in advance.

cheers

Give citroenxm a PM (he is a member on this forum). He has managed to get Cruise Control working on a Xantia HDI (although he had the advantage that the ECU already had the relevant coding in the ECU software, so all he had to do was to connect up the right hardware for it to work).
