Cheap part at main dealer shocker !!!.

My Xsara Mk1 has a scratched rear nearside bumper moulding [:(]. Just the black insert not the body colour bit [:(]. Had alook at it the weekend and could see that the insert was seperate to the rest of the bumper. Have been to the local main Citroen dealer this afternoon expecting the usual 'sign your sole away' price when to my surprise [:0][:0] on the shelf with the VAT only £13. Sold I'll take it. Even the parts man said that's strangley cheap. So there you go not all Citroen parts are mega bucks. [:D]

I went to my local accessory shop recently and asked "have you a windscreen wiper blade for a BX?"

My only guess is they are as sloppy at pricing things up as they are at putting cars back together.
I'm sure it isn't the first incorretly price dpart reported on this board.

had to read that a few times till I got it :p
i got some front shocks for my zx 16v before from a main dealer and they were only £36 each or something

£13.48 is the list price for this part, so it seems not to have been marked up incorrectly.
A similar part for the front bumper of a C5 is double that price.

One thing all BX owners can now be proud of -- We are now classified as wealthy With Citroen's recent massive hike in spares prices. Or a nutter.
!6 valve bumper -- £464-- plus grill, brackets, trim (unavailable) paint etc etc and VAT of course. Around £600-700 total
Hey mate -- have you got any on special this week or shop soiled. You should see their faces when you ask for a pre-owned item.
