I think it looks great! Finally Cit does something "daring" on the UK car market. This car will be something like this ..... either you LOVE it or you HATE it! I definitely LOVE it!
Cheers,

Well it's a slight improvement on the current version, which has to be the most bland and uninspiring Citroen ever, but still wont turn many heads, though I'll reserve final judgement until I see it for real. They should have made it look like thisImage

Apologies for my earlier post.
The new C5 will probably look better when I see it in the metal, I should reserve judgement till then.
Stempy is right though, the current C5 is bland. However I had the opportunity to spend a week with a C5 Hdi in the South of France/Northern Italy and loved the car.
The driving position suited me better than my two Xantias.

Well, the car seems to remain basically the same. Appart from a few new extras, only cosmethic details have changed, like the lights in front and in the back.
The important things are still to be seen:
- Does it improve the breaking limitations of the C5 mk1?
- Does it handle like a Xantia? (previous C5 didn't)
- Is there an Activa version?
- Is this a truly inovative car (like so many Citroens in the past) or just an ordinary car like the previous C5, losing as well to Laguna's, Mondeo's, etc?
After carpet riding in a DS, the C5 mk1 suspension is like a Flintstone's car!
After driving a Xantia V6 Activa, the C5 is like a 2CV.

Has anyone heard the rumour that the new C5 will have the new HDi's (1.6 110HP and 2.0 136HP) as well as the new 2.7 Twin Turbo Diesel?
It'd tempt me to buy one (at the right price!)

I hope it will.Lets face it,90bhp & 110bhp isn`t a lot from a 2.0"new age diesel".Would be nice if they fitted a manual gearbox to the 3.0 v6 aswell!

The headlamps are a huge improvement on the old model. I like the back end of the saloon. Not sure about C4 style slot along the front though, I'll need to see one in real life.
