I've used these before for varying quality, some have been stunning (usually the cheaper ones on eBay), and some have been crap (The ones that're £6 each in Tesco's.).
I honestly have no links with the seller at all, but after a week of using these on the Xantia, I have come to the conclusion that apart from the very tip of the passenger side one being slightly too long (Maybe 1/4 of an inch), these are VERY good value for money.

I should probably expand a little bit...
They run nice and streak free, with no judder or real noise at all, apart from a "Slap" when it changes direction. There's no lift at speed (Tried on both wiper speeds at upto 90mph)... And they provide very good vision even when stressed to this point. Above and beyond, I don't know.
The 1/4" too long business is a bit overemphasised really. What I meant was that the very top of the NS blade doesn't make contact with an area bout 1x2" on the bottom corner of the screen, but coverage otherwise is perfect.
Stuart.

Fitted a pair of those yesterday to my Xantia and can confirm that apart from missing the very small area on the passenger side sweep that they are excellent. Quick delivery and well packed including blade edge protectors. I will definitely use these again.

Forgot about the blade edge protectors! My neighbour pinched them before I had any choice in the matter for some sort of experiment or another!hirsty wrote:Fitted a pair of those yesterday to my Xantia and can confirm that apart from missing the very small area on the passenger side sweep that they are excellent. This post appeared at just the right time ! I've had the Tesco ones, as mentioned, on my X2 for a while and they are nasty ! I'm tight though and have persevered to get my monies worth from them ! So, they are now on the way out, the MOT is due this month and I was just about to trawl around for replacements, so very grateful for your post !

I admit, they're not the best looking units in the world... But anything that's half the price of a standard metal blade, lasts just as well and clears the screen 30% better than a standard blade has my vote.
Dyson Vacuum cleaners look shockingly bad... But they give a better service than most other hoovers!
These are the dyson of wiper blades... Except these don't cost £300+...

I have flat aero wipers fitted to the Xm, they are ok, much better than than the standard type. But these dont fit the screen on the passenger side when going slowly, they do when you go faster. Ive tried bending them to the screen but with no luck.
Im going to replace them with some more, hopefully better quality ones.
I always forget about them, as i rarely drive it in the rain

I have, for as long as I can remember, bought cheap blades or indeed refills. On a recent very wet trip back to UK (about 800 miles each way) the passenger blade was sqeaking, not clearing, juddering. But you get used to it. But when I was in GSF I gave in and asked for a blade. It is a Bosch and cost £6.99.
Never again will I buy a cheapo. This Bosch blade is perfect.
BTW, in France I have seen, in supermarkets, boxed blades costing up to an astonishing €45 each.

Wow, i hate juddering wipers, really hate it. My wipers have to be perfect, no smears, juddering or missing bits, drives me mad otherwise! Usually always buy wipers from the dealers, unless i decide to fit aftermarket aero blades.
My C5s wipers are a snip, at £55 the pair of fronts
They are proper aero blades with the special wiper arms, so only the genuine ones fit.

Does this mean all the coloured parts of the blade break off or fall apart within a month?!!P616VKX wrote:I admit, they're not the best looking units in the world... See what sort of response that gets eh ....
Hello!
If you're doing sets, can you quote me for my MK2 Hatch? I'm particularly needy for a rear blade but worth grabbing a bargain if fronts are on offer

My Dyson is going for classic hoover status and its still going strong!
My dog likes to put it out of action every now and again, chewing off the plug or running off and shredding the brush! She isnt a fan of the Dyson Never bothers anything else in the house, just the hoover!
