C5 beam converters

Going over the jolly ole France for the weekend and managed to get a photocopy template from local dealer to stick something over the headlights.
My what a palaravor? there is nowhere I can get a reference as to where they should actually stick on the glass, does any one know if a cover can be purchased that makes the job easier, even those ones you get from Halfords are just as bad.
Even dearer and one use wonders.

Surely the C5 masks can be more complicated than the Xantia. I need to convert my beams fairly frequently so I cut them out from a roll of black fablon, having copied the template from the Lucas kit (in Halfords)

the C5 acessory headlamp protectors have markings on them to show you where to put the stickers on.

Almost (I said almost . . . ) makes you yearn back to the old Renault 5 with a little lever under the headlight to convert it from R.H. dip to L.H. dip . . . (I did say almost) . .

I was a naughty boy when I went to France earlier in the year and didn't mask the headlights. Nobody flashed me or seemed bothered by it.

Thanks wheeler just what I was looking for, yes I use a roll of fablon as well. It was easy on my old xantia.
Doing this clears my consience about sticking it on high beam when I'm flashed in France, I don't think these bits of plastic are 100%

I find that a roll of wide black electricians tape can be used to make hundreds of beam deflectors - sticks on fine and comes off when you want it to!

The template is the same for all Xantias from '93 onwards. I'll try and describe them, looking towards the headlamps. The top right sections are covered by a mask 100mmx55mm. The bottom left sections are covered by a piece 80mmx40mm. Both areas are joined by narrow strips. All the perpendicular cuts are angled to correspond with the edges of the lamps. Having driven overnight with unshaded dipped-beams, and suffered the anger of French and Spanish lorry drivers, when the masks are in place, I know that they do work effectively.
