EML on

Hi I’m not sure if I’m on the right part to ask a question about my Citroen C3. I’m not very good with things online. I have a 2014 Citroen C3. The EML came on 5 weeks ago. The RAC said I needed a new lambda sensor so took to garage and had this done. 2 days later light came on again and RAC said my spark plugs were broke so paid for 3 new ones. Next day light came on again, took it to garage and ended up with new coil pack being fitted and second lambda sensor and next day light is back on. Any ideas in what this is as I have spent £500 so far. TIA

Not really without at least a fault code as a hint.

This came up on one of the diagnostic U1218 CAN BSI Communication Fault - permanent

Also just now the seatbelt light was flashing in and off even though seatbelt was on. Could all these problems be a faulty ECU

This is a puzzle...it could just be down to a loose electrical connection. If all those parts have been replaced and still not sorted the problem then that's what I'd go with. I would of initially checked the connectors to everything. And do a complete reset of the system. Citroens are known to have funky electrics
