I have a bit of a conundrum with my 307 interior light.
I have searched but cannot see the same issue, so I am hoping someone may have knowledge.
The issue.
When I stop the engine and take key out the interior light no longer illuminates.
When I open the doors, 9 times out of 10 no interior lights come on but when I close any door the interior light comes on and stays on. Pressing the central button normally turns it off but as of last night it no longer turns the interior lights (front and rear) off unless held for a while.
When the doors are closed and the light is off. There is no power to turn the interior light on with main switch.
This is same for all 4 doors not just one.
i am assuming a broken wire or earth or relay?
This is an 02 ref 51 plate 307 1.4hdi
Would anyone have any idea's?
I have tried the holding the button for 3 secs and it makes no difference.
