Is there a definitive source for Lexia / Diagbox / PSA Checker Software?

Afternoon,

As the title really. Couldn't spot anything in the sticky section?

Am looking for general advice on checking whether the software is installed correctly and no firmware or driver issues please.

Lexia was working then petered out. Neighbour gave me his head unit but hadn't used it in so long that he couldn't remember which software or firmware it was on.

I think I have now suitable repaired all the OBD wiring terminals I had damaged...

EDIT: I am currently getting the message, "The communications card is incorrectly initialised. The tool must be restarted."
