Weird stalling issue! Xantia S1 1994 1.9TD Bosch Pump

Hi Roger have you tested the pump in the tank it could be getting weak if it's original.

From the depths of my vague memory, the S1 does not have a pump in the tank!

It's nothing for me to deal with at the moment anyway as the S2 passed its MOT.

Alright well that should rule it out so. Good to hear the s2 is road legal at least. Have you checked your cam and crank sensors it could be expansion from heat causing the circuit to collapse got stranded a few times when I was younger because of a dodgy crank sensor that only failed when the car got good and warm..
