That's the only explanation that I see, so do you know where I can get a motor only?GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑18 Apr 2024, 18:00 Sounds like it has been overheating and has continued to be used, so has done more damage.

No, as the BHI is an integrated system, so the pump is not sold separately or generally available on its own. The BHI is also configured for the vehicle specifics that it will be used on. Best to locate a BHI that matches your part number for compatibility.

It won't need configuring if you have an exact matching BHI from an identical vehicle with the same engine and body shape, but it's these 2 areas that specifically need configuring - engine code and body shape (Saloon / Tourer)

Re: citroen c5 x7 2008
Or could Sergiu get around this & possibly save time/money simply buying the cheapest (working) local BHI & using the motor from that? That'd be my go-to in a case of short supply of identical parts, presuming motors are the same between all BHI's?GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑19 Apr 2024, 11:44 It won't need configuring if you have an exact matching BHI from an identical vehicle with the same engine and body shape, but it's these 2 areas that specifically need configuring - engine code and body shape (Saloon / Tourer)
