Ignoring potentially faint cries of "Oh no it isn't" I am more than happy to include the cute little pioneering Austin A40 Farina in the thread and seeing as I have an original falcon shutter click to deposit, its going in here regardless.

I presume it has been some time since anyone had a decent nose around a Triumph 2000 Estate, here's your chance while the video still exists on the net. WB and Sons do their customary thorough buyers walk through and start up, head and shoulders above any video walk throughs from the other Classic Auctions in my view.

Unlike the Rover P6 Estate conversions, with the appearance of a conversion clagged on, the Triumph 2000 came straight out the factory as a purpose-built estate.

A left hooker but a genuine 60's Mini Traveller in white with ffsr no less (£16 extra on the invoice when bought new). As far as the photo's looks to be well-presented car, and everything will be fixable and parts available to keep it ticking along for many years.

If it goes for that estimate price it is an absolute bargain, who cares if its a left hand drive, bet its not that difficult a conversion to RHD but why bother.

No video, no start up, yet. If you are serious bidder and want a decent viewing of what you are bidding for, you are going to have to make a trip to Kings Lynn.

Just a link too but worth a click for the pics

I was going to say that new estate cars are ugly but having seen some of the older estates, I'm not to sure, the Reliant Scimitar is a dream car for me.

Something stops me really loving a plain white Mini Traveller... I do absolutely adore the wooden version though...

Dad had one in the early 70s. A lovely 1967 example in Island Blue...

We two toned a lot of Minis in the sixties, white roofs on all colours, black roofs on some and a few with union jacks, confederate flags and two I recall with vinyl.

I two-toned my very first Mini. It was Old English White and when dad and I hand repainted it we gave it a black roof...

Improved it no end :D

It's worth an extra 5 mph on the top speed, a couple of seconds off the 0 - 60 time and an extra 5 mpg for the economy!

Um, sounds like a euphemism to me.

To avoid the onerousness of a click and a visit to the webpage of Historics for a view of some rather gorgeous photographs on the 1969 Innocenti Mini T Estate here's one I have chosen to bring forward for ooh its awful or ooh its lovely comments, or better still, dig out a picture from your own archives of "your estates" or indeed spur a bit of 2023 original photography of the genre of the thread, like the rear end of currently the only electric estate in a nice shade of red on a sunny day snapped by the Falcon.

A white one definitely looks better when clad in wood :D

By no means awful...
