Hell Razor5543 wrote: 16 Oct 2022, 19:15 I heard tell of a teacher who had problems with the handling of his car. It took ages to find out what the cause of the problem was, and it only came to light when he had his tyres replaced. It appears that, a few terms earlier, some of his students had added full fat milk to each wheel, and (with the churning action and over time) the milk had turn to 'cheese' (well, sort of, but probably not edible).

I genuinely was NOT one of the students who came up with this idea; I couldn't think that far out of the box!
The unfettered imagination of youth mixed with the fermentation of subsidised milk!

I'd heard of sugar in the petrol tank but milky tyre cheese is on another level!

Tyre deflated, valve core removed, some very fine funnel or syringe???, Valve core back in, tyre reinflated?

The level of ingenuity at play is remarkable!

Actually, was it simpler to hot wire the teacher's car and just repeatedly storm threw a big milk puddle at speed?

:rofl2:

No, no driving through milk is dangerous as it can get into the tyres , like flood water 2 foot deep but a different color lol

:offtopic: While I welcome any contributions to the forum please bear in mind what the thread is for!! I have to go through this thread at the end of November to make a list of interested parties and their locations so I can make the next move should it be popular enough. All the banter and general chat, while amusing in its own right, is going to make that a tiresome task rather than a quick checklist so please just post on here for its intended purpose!! :-D

We're now some 6 months on from the mickthemaverick's initial post.

Should we try and firm someone up.

We could even ask Jay to ask ChatGPT where is equal driving time for all UK members on average! He'd have to bring his private jet though with being located up near the North Pole...

Yes! Be quick as my calendar is already bulging with my racing events and almost all weekends now spoken for...

In view of that Jim post up your best weekend available dates and hopefully people can sign up. Decision to be made by the end of April I'd suggest. The only weekend I cannot do is 1st and 2nd July as, with any luck, I may be going to Paris in an as yet to be sourced EV!! :-D

August is looking most favourable :)

Thanks for that Jim. The issue with August is threefold in my opinion:
1. School Holiday time so visiting places will be busy.
2 For the same reason some members may have child care commitments
3. The general rule is that hotels are harder to get block bookings and tend to charge more.

Taking those things into acccount with Jim's calendar can I propose September 15-17 as children will be back at school, hotels may offer better deal, less chance of being caught in a heatwave and more time to arrange and gather patrons.

Please post up your thoughts asap. :)

That weekend in September works for me Mick... Good point about August - maybe why there's few events on during that month...
