Pug Boxer parts request please

Post by moizeau »

Good afternoon, could someone supply the parts numbers for the rear wheel brake cylinder please for this van VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] . I'm also going to change the shoes as they are covered in brake fluid. Last time I looked there were 2 options. Get the complete kit (cylinder, shoes and springs) or get the cylinder and shoes without the springs.
Also the rear doors don't shut, both mechanisms are knackered so need to sort that as well for the CT. Also he has a seat belt warning on the dash, having locked under the passenger seat a yellow connector is floating about and there doesn't seem to be a switch in the seat, guessing the seat has been changed at some point? Not after a part number for the seat issue but any advice would be gratefully received.
Cheers
Pete

I take it the yellow lead comes up from the floor. If it is only for the passenger seat then it sounds like you need the yellow cable connected up to bridge out the lack of seat belt connections in the seat. How many pins/cables does the yellow cable have?

Ok, here you go:
Realy Rear Brakes Colin.PNG
Brake Shoes

OEM: 4241L2 £458.20 (set of 4)
Cheaper: E170305 £123.04 (unsure if this is for a pair or 4 - so you'll need to check).

Cylinder

The original Part (4402E4) £127.36 each may no longer be available, so they propose:
4402F7 which come in packs of 2. £214.28

if you put "seat belt latch" into "search box" above it brings up a few threads and I have seen this on the Sprinter Forum before. It kinda says it all.

:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

More lottery style parts pricing from PSA!! If you can't get them much cheaper than this (and a quick google suggests a more reasonable price of around 1 / 20th of the Pug price) then I would get them relined.
