Another one from the Lancia stable.

1970 Lancia Flavia Milleotto LX (milleotto sounds a bit more exotic than eighteen hundred)

I simply don't believe it!

Has the velour industry disappeared now, its heyday for car upholstery and interiors long gone. :?:

Previously in the thread the sea of velour in the Opel Monza Saloon has featured, and in the Peugeot 505 GTi picked out by Mick on the classics thread, amongst the vast number of pictures on the Car and Classic listing its most striking feature for me...the blue velour upholstery. (and the Marina door handles!)

The Monza was a little less subtle

...and the sea of pink velour was a Monza not a Manta...corrected both now!

No, that's the correct knob as far as I recall...

IIRC the Anglia and the Prefect had the cue ball knob whereas the Popular had to settle for a 7 pointer!! :-D

"Cue ball" was just my own descriptive description. It was definitely an original feature. Throughout the pages of this thread you will find the odd post from me of the "cue-ball knob" in other vehicles, and sometimes in different colours. Somewhere I believe was a yellow one! One of my personal favourites to notice in gear sticks, as well as the convoluted crank, or particularly long lever.

Someone on autoshite makes and sells them commercially. Don't see the attraction myself.

Looks like I was mistaken on the "yellow one" but a few other examples.
