C4 VTS 2.0 petrol 2008 steering rack turns lock to lock

I'm finding it very difficult to find a second hand steering rack for my C4 VTS.

According to Servicebox the part number for the rack assembly for my car's VIN number is 4000 ZV (or the replacement p/n 16 179 341 80 or the exchange p/n 16 636 523 80)

I then looked through servicebox for every mk1 RHD C4, they all seem to use the same part numbers except for 2.0 HDI models.

So I bought a used rack from a 1.6 HDI, it arrived and I checked the number of turns lock to lock and found it had about 4 turns.

The rack in my car currently has about 2.75 turns of the steering wheel between locks.

I then looked at some Citroen brochure PDFs from 2007 and 2008 which show the number of turns as 2.88 for all models except for 2.0 HDis which have 2.69 turns.

I'd be very grateful if anyone with a 2004-2011 C4 could count the number of turns their steering wheel has between the lock stops?
