Six Bottles of Wine has just bought me this Case of right place at right time and being cheeky enough to ask.
4-door Clio 1.2, around 38,000 miles surplus to the owner's requirements. Another example of the "On my walk" method of acquiring vehicles as per Gibbo!
Well pleased
Regards Neil

Heck, after six bottles the vendor can't have been in any shape to ask for anything sensible!

I hope you HPI'd it before you handed over the wine.

Re: Bargain Basement Motoring
Wahey, Bargain!
...and kind of ironic.
With such a low mileage and depreciation the "cost per mile" over the life of the car to the previous owners must be astronomical

Worth a bloody fortune now...
A Zodiac will always have happy memories for me... It was in one I heard Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon for the first time in quadraphonic on a Radiomobile quadraphonic 8-track player
It fair blew me away...

That's a tremendous find Neil They must be as rare as the old proverbial and the price somewhat bears that out...
And here's the player for it
Shame quaraphonic never really took off.. It sounded magical...
Interestingly, in my CD research I discovered there was provision in the standard for quadraphonic CD Audio but it was never implemented...
I have one quardaphonic vinyl LP and I keep threatening to build a decoder for it so that i can enjoy it properly! Amongst the tracks is the 1812 Overture... That must sound fantastic in quad
