Now here is a view most EV driver will never see.
Nice Cells.
Nice Cells.
And were they go.
the underside
the underside
Unfortunately this is a far too regular sight for me.

Demand for VW EV's across Europe has dropped this quarter by 24%, due to high electricity costs and the roll back of subsidies for EV drivers, plus I would imagine considering the above images it is not a good start to EV ownership, changing cells in car less that 12 months old, we have 7 more cells to fit to 7 more vehicles (so far we have fitted over 150 cells and still counting), on the other side of the wall there is an Audi have a compete battery.

Was at a retail park last weekend (shudder...!), and spotted a few EVs, all on '24' plates.

Tesla 3 - bonus points as it was red (which is, or used to be, a £2k option!)
BMW mahoosive SUV thing
BYD Attos 3 (I think!) - seen one before. Wouldn't touch one with a barge pole, but it was a very attractive blue colour.

And a first for me - a Honda e:Ny1 what a ridiculous name!

Why the 'not with a bargepole comment Richard? Do you know something or is it just anti China prejudice?

Saw a KIA e-Niro today, looked pretty brand new but a private plate. I've put the pic on favourite colours for cars. Certainly eye-catching in the Northumberland afternoon sunshine.

Neil, I know the badge is Cupra which I know as part of Seat who I believe are owned by VW but where does the 'sweet' come in? :-D

Romeo and Juliet paraphrase :-D "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

The level of sweetness is subjective, in the eye of the beholder and one person's meat is another person's poison.

Aah thanks for that. I'm afraid my Shakepeare knowledge is limited to Julius Caesar and A Midsummer Night's Dream so I didn't catch on at all!! Et tu Cuté :-D

Yep they are under the VW umbrella at the moment have been for a while now so due a change again soon I would imagine, were as Skoda are under the Audi umbrella hence the hike in Skoda prices. I guess they will be due a swap again soon.
Porsche was an odd one VW sold their share in Suzuki to buy into Porsche but stull don't control it "yet" they also have a bite into Scania & Man but own out right Lamborghini, Bentley and Ducati, I also noticed last year in the monthly VW manufacture letter they have Bugatti as the badge was on the header, last time I was down in Milton Keynes they were telling us VW now has bought the rights to the Mazda RX range rotary engine.
I thought they had sold on Ducati but the icon is still on their news letters, so maybe it was just we "thinking of" selling on.
