Driving music

Post by Jaine »

What are your sounds when you are in the car (apart from dash squeaks, rattles & for me the K&N)?
I find I drive according to the music speed so if I put on any heavy metal I become Ayrton Senna & if it is something like Shirley Bassey I pootle along like a pensioner.
Some of my favs are: Deftones, Pink Floyd, Interpol, Radiohead, Pixies, Soundgarden, Kasabian etc.
Yours :?:
If I throw a stick, will you leave?.

That's a new band to me Mike... Catchy title

What sort of music is that then?

I don't listen to any music in any of my cars...

I listen to Radio 4 always.

I'm not quite sure why something appears to have changed the name of a popular Colombian singer who sings such things as "Whenever wherever" and "Hips don't lie" and has a nice bottom to "spamming idiot alert"..

Good hard electro house. Bluegrass. AC/DC. Even the radio, quite often. I'm yet to find an album with up-to-the-minute news on it.

The news isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I was listening to Powerage earlier (This means nothing to anyone other than perhaps Addo)

I'm actually fortunate (usually!) in being one of those people who can constantly hear music in my head.

It makes a choice of external tunes, less imperative. Except when (for example) DJ Brain is playing
Uh oh, we're in trouble
Something's come along
And it's burst our bubble...
