Re: French cars in films
In "Black Widow" there is, during the car chase sequence in Budapest, a series 2 DS that unfortunately has a motorcycle use it as a ramp.

Re: French cars in films
Plenty of French cars in the 2001 movie Ame`lie. The mystery photo booth repair man she is trying to find drives off in a 305 van.
Also, I remember a Bond film with Roger Moore where he is being chased through Paris in a stolen DS. The DS is hit and breaks in two. He continues his escape in just the front half.

And a recent episode of Top Gear had the men trying out different Bond vehicles. They then had a race with them each driving a 'shortened' Renault 11. It is safe to say they enjoyed that.NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 09:58That one was a Renault 11 in "A view to a Kill" you can even get a model car of it!20th Century Pug wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 07:07

Re: French cars in films
On Monday night, 16th, 11.15pm, BBC2 they are showing "A Bigger Splash". I saw it when it came out in 2015, surprised the BBC are putting it on but I suppose it is late at night and parts might be cut. One uncredited star is the Mehari that they use to get around, pops up a few times. The least credible scene? Towards the end there is a trip in heavy rain, with the side curtains on the Mehari. If I recall correctly the inside stays dry. Really?
(I remember glimpsing a poster that mentioned a Dakota, but there wasn't one in the film)

A bit odd ball but try the Madame Blanc Mysteries. Citroen GSA Break being used as the local taxi when everything around it is modern.

It's a sort-of film anyway.

Re: French cars in films
Part of RED 2 takes place in Paris, so there's a lot of cars in the background. Off the top of my head I remember spotting an X7 and an XM briefly in the backgrounds of shots.
