The 242 mm cluth for the massive ML5T gearbox is hydraulic operatede.
Seriously doubt that a petit mademoiselle could operate it any other way than hydraulic
To be beyond sure, i looked on my own, and on Servicebox via. the VIN, and this is the only option. It's factory installed.
The final drive and bellhousing is diffrent between the XU10J2TE and ES9J4 engine, and the hydraulic unit (slave and master) is also diffrent, but i guess that since the clutch itself is a smaller 230 vs. 242 mm. from the ES9J4, some variations are needed.
