I like how the Activa section is growing!
A while back I found a Xantia advert, granted its a VSX but its still a good 'un. Looks like a very early one as the chevrons are on the bonnet.

Andrew, is the XM the one where the guy takes some flowers home?
If it is - what a commute to work that is!

That's the one; where he drives from Holiday Inn at Milton Keynes, past
Amazonian forests and waterfalls, through Icelandic ice fields and geysers
to end up in his house at the end of a Norwegian fijord with his flowers in
hand!
Not so much because the Lady loves Milk Tray, but all because the Fella
loves driving his 24v v6 Xm. He may have got the flowers as a sweetner
after driving round the world the past 80 days!

....Should Have Used An Activa....
This is a test where they carried out a comparison in a slalom, although instead of a Gran(d)ada and an Xm it would have been better if they had tested an Activa and a similar sized car instead of or as well their chosen test cars to show an even bigger improvement in handling.

Re: ....Should Have Used An Activa....
I totally agree and suspect the Granny was chosen specifically because the 2.0 has exceptionally soft suspension whereas the cosworth and 24Valvers have a firmer ride. It's a great big soft and comfortable car but loses big time on corners. In fact, I have to ease it around in the wet, so much that other drivers are tempted to (and often do ) overtake me on the outside. I wouldn't mind if they'd have the courtesy to get out of the way once I'm on the straightACTIVE8 wrote:... although instead of a Gran(d)ada.....
