The idea is fantastic, but my oh my that "lump under a red tarpaulin stashed behind the seats"

I think I'd have to remove that and call it a "speedster" (that's the correct term for "I couldn't work out how to do the roof so there isn't one" I think :)

I had a customer with a closed top version of that, turned out to be one of those time share fraudsters selling shares into non existent Tenerife holiday homes, even ripped off his mother in law then disappeared.

This was always going to be my open top selection from Jim's comprehensive picture gallery from the recent show at Turvey House on Sunday
Always a little out of my price range for ownership, but then again you can always pretend that this classic car formula works to talk yourself into something... :-D
Purchase Price X Selling Price Y
SO good Jim snapped it 3 times!

While I agree with you on the MGA Neil, I personally loved the E-Type Roadster in what, for me, is the best and classic scheme, red with black interior:

Snapped that MGA three times Neil as I couldn't remember if I'd already done so... Hence many duplicates in my album!

Love the colour of it :D

Mick, I have to agree about the E-Type :D

It’s purple and it’s a convertible and currently on the unloved side of the market.

This wasn't in the sale, just one of the attending vehicles at the pre-sale Sunday Club at WB and Sons. No apologies for duplicating the interior photo posted on the Interiors and Dashboards thread.

I have developed a relatively new found interest in the TR7, even one in one of its more bland paint colours, looks good to me.

I have just looked back over the whole of this thread and I was amazed to discover that my last post was the debut of a MkI Elan on this thread!! The closest we came was Neil's 1968 MkII so in my opinion of course this will now be very hard to top !! :-D
