I couldn't lay my hands on a 5270VP when I tried. Not technically obsolete but not available anywhere.
I saw a chap on Facebook scrap an X7 a few weeks back because he couldn't get hold of one.

Maybe a supply issue, but as yet, officially they've not marked them as NFP.

Did you get your 5270VP from Poland? Did it fit OK? I suspect that I have stumbled across the same supplier. He can also do the left and right pipes (5270VF and 5270VG).Lenny wrote: ↑16 Feb 2024, 21:07 Interesting to see that the rear pipes (5270VF & VG) are now easily available as pattern parts and I've currently got a pattern 5270VP slowly working it's way across Europe from Poland as mine is looking a bit crusty.
Front struts are being made by somebody aftermarket too.
Keeping an X7 going into much later life may yet turn out to be possible.
(Admittedly, we still need and answer to the steering pipes issue though)
My garage sourced one front strut from Poland last year - but I assumed that it was OEM, not pattern.

My old pipe is tatty but not leaking so it can wait until I get a sunny afternoon to spare

Ah, that's interesting. Keep us posted on how you get on with it. I've found another source with a different design that I'll probably try out in the next few weeks.Lenny wrote: ↑16 Apr 2024, 20:38Yes, I've got it and it looks good but I've not fitted it yet.Did you get your 5270VP from Poland?

I'll report back in 14 years to say if it's outlasted the Citroen original
