Front wipers are not working in C4

hey, apologies upfront if this is wrong place or method to ask about this.

I've bought a 2009 Citroen C4 1.6 as a second car but with a quirk, its front wipers are not working -so its tad risky to drive it in rainy days =) Rear one works well and I've checked the fuses, so it is not that. What part should I check or change, if I can ? If anybody can help, my VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

These are effectively computer controlled, so you'll need to get it on a computer to see if the messages are coming from the switches, if the BSI is interpreting them, and if the motor(s) are working.

Is this something i'd see in OBD ? I could not find an error code related to it, if I take it to mechanic, probably they will ask everything to be changed, I just would like to have bit more info beforehand.

Not necessarily OBD, you would need a decent diag tool that can read the live data from the BSI.
