c5 x7 starts then after 2 - 3 sec. shuts off. After changing cabin filter.

I have a problem. I changed my cabin filter myself and after that, my car starts and shuts down after a few sec. I may have moved some wiring but i dont know where to check first. No errors are comming on the dashboard.

I checked my fuel level - half a tank.
I checked my fuses in all 3 places - all are good.
I checked the fuel is in the system and it has no air leak.
It has no reaction to the gas pedal, but i unplugged then replugged the connector - no result.
I blocked the egr for a moment to see if it would cause it - nothing.
Please help.

Bsi reset gave nothing, the codes are pedal or throttle position sensor broken. They were before the incident that occurs now.

So in order to help, if you gently peel back some of the black insulating tape, the wiring sleeves will have wiring codes on.

For that Blue connector, if you can tell me how many pins it has (in total, regardless if there are any blanks without wires) and provide a few codes, I can advise on what it's for.

My C5 has that as well they're not a cut plug it's just part of the loom. The others I think are just termination plugs in the loom

Do you have live data , fuel rail pressure etc. check you have cam crank synch, fuel volume valve open % .

They are repair/accessory wires, you will find the other ends of them underneath the under bonnet fuse box. The are spare wires already ran through bulkhead for fitting accessories or replacing broken wires.

I have a solution! It is working again. Computer crashe from being on the ignition for too long... Fast reset with lexia or other application from the mobile mechanic and it works great now.

Great to hear you are back up and running A bsi reset should have done that for you.
