Re: Favourite colours for cars
One of those rare occasions when the colour impresses me more than the car:

An unusual shade of red called Regency Red, I might have called it Cranberry but I do like it a lot!!

Interesting that Neil. It may be down to screen presentation, cameras, lighting etc etc, even my eyes but the E-Type Regency Red looks distinctly more Maroony than the MK2 when viewed side by side. It is the very thing I liked about the Mk2 in that it was different from many other reds around!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
All the e-type shots are outdoors in natural light, makes a big difference to perception of colour. The indoor shots in the sale particulars do appear to be taken in quite a harsh and bright indoor lighting from above. Saying that they still appear distinctly different. Halfway down the details they call the paint Regal Red as opposed to Regency Red probably a slip of the keyboard, not sure if Regal Red is an actual Jaguar Colour.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 09:49 Interesting that Neil. Re: Favourite colours for cars
I once for a time used a red Capri, got stopped by the cops twice, they thought I was a boy racer.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.
