Citroen c5 faulty remote locking

Hi all,

The remote locking fob on my c5 didnt work properly for like 2 years. New battery in the fob didn't fix it..

Swapped the car battery to one with the correct CCA as it was dying, and what do you know.. The fob is also working fine now.

Just thought id post this in case anyone has the same issue!

Probably nothing to do with the fob, but more likely to do with replacing the battery which has caused a BSI reset. For your future reference reinitialisation of the fob is contained in the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure
