Hi all.
I have questions...
Is the voltage regulator that is bolted to the alternator (valeo) on a 2010 Pug 5008 unique or coded to that ECU?
Is it worth replacing the voltage regulator of alternator codes are still present after changing the alternator?
Finally, in the event that I were to buy a used ECU, what is the score with fitting, coding etc... Is it a main dealer job?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Alternator issue
If you are talking about an engine ECU dealers or the Peugeot dealer diagnostics system can't recode a used engine ECU.MarkyD1977 wrote: ↑01 Oct 2021, 15:47

Option 1 Would be to sent the original & 'new' ECU to a specialist to get it cloned.
Option 2 would be to get a used ECU, BSI & a working key all from the same car as the are a matched set. Be aware though if the mileage stored in the 'new' BSI is higher your instrument panel will inherit the higher mileage.
