There are at least 7 2.0 HDI engine variants on the 508, so pop your VIN up (automasked) so we know which 508 model and exact engine.

Ok, so you have the DW10CTED4 163 BHP Engine.
That could be any one of the vacuum hoses to the electro valves (EGR, Turbo etc)
Have a look at this thread, that shows the same engine as yours and the vacuum pipes:

I believe it is “ evacuation pipe”
Does that mean it is just hanging down on the side and does not connect to anything ?
