Acceleration flat spot
Hi all,I have just joined this forum,I was Hoping some of your members may point me in the right direction.my car is a peugeot 307,2003 model with the 8 valve 1.4 petrol engine,the problem is I am experiencing a hesitancy/flat spot. when accelerating, I have changed plugs and air filter,there are no stored codes after scanning,I have previously changed both water temperature sensors for cold starting/running,I cannot find any air leaks,was thinking of changing coil packs,Maybe beginning to break. down?what does anyone think?by other suggestions? Try disconnecting the MAF sensor (if it has one!)
Certainly on the 2.0 HDi, if you do this, the ECU has default fuelling maps - so if it runs better, the MAF is suspect

I don't think he has one. This will use a MAP sensor.
