Partner Teepee, No memory in climate panel

Post by ree_dk »

Hello all
I have just got an 2011 Partner Tepee with digital bi zone climate control. The problem is that it forgets its current setting every time the power is cut. It then returns to the same setting (22C / HI) which means that the fan goes to max every time the engine is started. I am planning to switch the climate panel as I hope this is the fault part. Am I correct or should there be other control modules that could lead to this behaviour? The car is fitted with a factory installed Webcasting heater.
Hope to hear from you
Thanks in advance

Before you replace any parts I would check that all of the fuses are intact.

I would be looking at your battery too Christian. Non-memorised settings can be indicative of a loss of power. Does the radio / Head Unit also flash or lose it's date / time settings?

On your passenger compartment fuse box, there is a SHUNT fuse, used when the vehicle will parked up and not used for longer periods - it shuts off some of the electrical system to conserve battery power. Check your manual for the position settings, but is should be shunted to CUSTOMER position.
