citroen doc backup error code

Post by Bandit12 »

Morning peeps

Just tried to access Citroen doc backup and encountered this error (see attached screenshot) seems to be some kind of javascrpt thing but I'm not pc savvy, any ideas? Scratch that as cant attach screenshot! like I said not pc savvy

It reads "Error initializationbackup Systray:class javanet.Socket extension.

Any ideas?

No response? I too have a problem. :(
I have loaded Doc Backup and Sedre 3 times over a period of about a year and it appears to install correctly.
However, when I try to run either, I get the same error message;

""Fatal Error
the application is out of date, please update it.""

Date and time are correct, Java is up to date, so what is out of date, or what does it mean?
One thing I did notice is that last night the install code was different to the first two. initially codes were OBE4GAAA, the last was P72NPAAA with different activation codes. Why the differences on the same machine?
Anyone have any ideas please?

It’s deactivated Harry, the licence is out of date - most likely expired.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for response.
Have to say what/which is deactivated and expired? Is this PSA blocking its use? If so will turn off internet when I try again.
I installed from your .iso disks. System was "cleaned" using regedit etc before install so I really don't' understand what is going on  .
Is it the install codes? Can I try using the old ones?
Utterly flummuxed. :?...... again

Hi Harry,
This may be of help, had similar problems with my copy of Sedre/Doc Back up purchased online a while ago.
It worked for me except it now does not recognise my VIN number, but that may be a fault else where in the system/program.
