Saying Hello

Post by thompsonp »

Hello all

I just inherited my first French car which is a citroen C8. Very comfy brilliant for cruising and for the family however as its a little older its starting to have a few problems.

So a big thank you for all the posts that helped me clean my DPF and also trouble shoot a problem with the swirl pot actuator that was putting the car into limp home mode.

I am currently in Switzerland where everything costs a fortune and I can't speak the language, so an interesting time for motoring on a budget. Its a long term keeper so Im sure Ill be around.

Cheers

Paul

...one of which was good English, iirc.
Looking at your other post today, you are certainly in the right part of the world for 'clock springs' !

So how are you doing with the C8 now? How well does it drive and handle?

French, German, Italian and Romanisch (spelled something like that) IIRC.

Romansh actually - plus Latin (in certain applications) &, of course, English IS widely understood, if not spoken.

I suppose an inherited C8 is the family estate (groan)
Citroens:-
'81 2CV Club
'05 C15 :!:
'97 Xantia Exclusive estate [-o<
others:-

'99 Cadillac STS :|
