You may have noticed AA Box 553 on display at the museum, but one of the 19 still in their original roadside locations, was....a mere 18.5 miles away!
It is also one of the 5 remaining AA boxes in the FCF Challenge

Re: Practical Classics Round Britain Run
Well the final destination was in my neck of the woods but have only just realised tonight, that it was today (Saturday) the cars were at Bamburgh! All week I was imagining it was Sunday for some reason.
Nice photogenic finish for them.

Your average Stag owner wouldn't open the bonnet because if they knew what was under it - it would scare them too much! (this I know from a very good friend who was big in the SOC)
Citroens:-
'81 2CV Club
'05 C15
'97 Xantia Exclusive estate
others:-
Jeep XJ Cherokees x 3
'96 Cadillac Eldorado
'99 Cadillac STS
& the numerous "abandoned projects"

Re: Practical Classics Round Britain Run
There do seem to be two sorts of Classic cars . . .
Those that the owners pay someone else to maintain and look after, and investing their money in;
Those whose the owners understand, work on, and invest their time in.
