For info The pipe on the conversions above are 7cm long. They're a bit short from ideal. If anyone is thinking of doing this I'd recommend 14cm of pipe to the union as the pipe on the Xantia has to bend almost immediately after exiting the union.
I cable tied my pipe to the anti roll bar inside another rubber pipe to prevent chafing.
There's a small rubber o ring which appeared in the drain pan after I'd removed both unions from their cylinders. Any idea where that goes? Not sure if it fits between the C5 union and cylinder or does it fit on the end of the C5 union (beside the green seal above)

You need the o ring between the pipe and the cylinder to form a tight seal.. So be careful.. its only about 4mm across and a right b***er to get into place upside down.
