Hello & thank you - Pleiades

Post by Twickersdude »

Hello,

I found this forum whilst becoming very annoyed with Citroen who have now delisted the spare part that I needed for my 1999 Xantia 2.0 HDi. The hydraulic steering pipe had failed and Citroen were happy enough to accept an order for a replacement pipe assembly ( at close to £200.00 ) . After 3 weeks Citroen explained that the part was no longer available.

Following this forums recommendations I sent the failed part to Pleiades in Sawtry who repaired it for £65.00 inc. postage & returned it within 24 hours. I can't recommend them enough and am sure that I'll be using them again to help keep the Xantia running despite the best efforts of Citroen to send it to an early grave !!!!!!

Thank you to the forum & also to Martin Dunn at Pleiades.

Michael.

Hi all,

Had a problem with my C5 X7 and stiff suspension and bouncy - took it to Pleiades and was most impressed, I'd be happy to recommend anytime.

Out of interest, what did they do and how much did it cost?

4 new spheres supplied and fitted, LDS fluid change and labour all for about £300 - quite good I thought and so much so, when I'm paid, I'll also have the rear centres done as well. Also told the cambelt kit including water pump and labour is only going to run to about £300 so I'll most likely have that done with them as well when it's due....

I would like to add my hapenny's worth and say ‘thanks’ to the nice man at Pleiades, Sawtry, who spent some time on the phone helping me source a couple of seals (5280.K5) recently for my Xantia, Cheers Alan
