Paul, I may be really off the money here but the Lexia faults might just indicate an electrical problem on something common to all those items such as a duff/high resistance earth or a duff/intermittent/low supply. That might well account for the odd behaviour. The front loom or fusebox may be implicated.

Did all the faults successfully clear and stay away?

If you need HDi wiring diagrams and layouts let me know...

As I say, I may be wrong but it might bear a check and investigation.

Ooo yes jim they did clear and stay away. The only one to return is the lack of high pressure measurement or what ever it says.

Moment of truth for starting. Just stepping out the door to goto farm...

Doh!!!!

What live pressure readings are you getting Paul?

Have you checked any and all electrical points that could have been disturbed when doing the clutch?

Have you thought about swapping injectors from the hdi90?

Sorry it's dragging on :(

Paul, any more luck?
looks like I have similar issues.. car has been getting worse at cold starting for last few weeks, now it wont start at all, 5C outside.. hoping to get lexia on it for the (my) first time ever.. may need a little help with that information.,

just to clarify, you can change the fuel pump on an Hdi without upsetting cambelt tension?

Yes you can BUT be carefull to make sure the pump pully sits nicely and safely.

Theres no bolt holes to secure the pully, it needs to rest.. then when you re fit the pump it will tighten up again.

HDi pumps ARE NOT TIMED on these 2.o 8v engines..

As for my car. She still doesnt start instantly, and still cuts out under hard load, however, she does start a little better.

Out of interest JOhn, have you checked your heater plugs??
