I removed the rubber flap, and drilled six 5 mm(?) holes to the cap.
Not sure about the drill size (dont remember), but when you remove the rubber flap, you can see good places for the holes from the inside of the cap.

Hi!

I have bought a faulty c2 to be repaired. Problem is that car is cranking but not starting.
I have so far checked that there is no spark, but smells gasoline so i think the gas pump works, no blown fuses (in my opinion). I replaced the coil pack and spark plugs and crank sensor, but still no start. I have measured that there is signals coming...

And when it heats up works just fine also, but when i shut down engine and try to restart when its hot its very rough start or dont start at all, when its starts the rpm will bounce back and forward, it stops and works fine after i press hard on gas for 1-2 seconds.

Measured air at idle is about 400mg, reference air is about 260mg.

I have a 1985, Series one CX Prestige with injected 2.5 liter engine. It had been sitting for about 5 months and now starts up only if I tap the gas but runs rough, and will not idle even when run to temp. Most recently It backfired once. Thanks all. Problem is solved. The Backfire I mentioned was enough to split the plastic intake manifold. Hard to see, as it was the bottom section that split. I know the question probably seems weird or even stupid, but the thing is that my car (C5 X7 2.2 hdi cross tourer from 2014 with DW12C engine) lies flat on the ground, and I am not able to get under it :(

It keeps blowing the hydraulic pump midi fuse, which is located in the box with the red lid sitting on the side of the battery.

Recently bought a Citroen c5 c7 2.2 that won’t raise the front suspension. The rear works fine in all height settings. I’ve changed the height sensor but it didn’t change anything. I’ve also charged the battery since it was in economy mode. Anyone has an idea ?

hi i just got my DPF cleaned report said it restored back to 100% efficiency . how ever ~200km after ecu calculated soot load of 230g and giving an warning about it then a week later it went into limp mode .i would assume DPF it self is ok rather ECU calculates soot load wrong based on some sensors ? So dpf is not new it was just cleaned . and soot model was reset back to 0 before installing it . but then about two weaks later soot weight climbed up back to 220 i did a 160km drive on a motorway which dropped back to 120 and now after ~week its back to 260g

Slight troubles here...

Took the wiper arms off as part of changing the fuel and air filters, but can't seem to get them back in the right position, and they are clashing. Anyone know where they are supposed to be aligned? Service box is not helpful as it just says refit and check operation!!

I am looking at replacing both front and rear discs and pads in the next few months, but.
There appears to be 2 options for the front
FRONT DISC DIAMETER 283 THICKNESS 26
FRONT DISC DIAMETER 304 THICKNESS 28
and 2 for the rear

How do I find out which ones my car needs or is just a matter of choice?

Yep, how I did it:

(3 different front diameters listed for my 2016 308. Similarly 2 different diameters for the rear of the 2011 308. Note the Haynes manual for the 2011 car doesn't even lift the diameter that was actually fitted!)

Car went into limp mode. Diagbox showed something like 'high resistance cylinder 2'. Measured the resistance on the injector, which was lower than the others. Replaced the injector with a brand new (VDO/Siemens/Continental). Recoded in Diagbox by entering the code written on top of the new injector, which was accepted in Diagbox. Runs...

My ds5 seems to be smoking a lot more when putting my foot down.

Wondering if there could be a specific cause or is it just age?

It's done 144k, is serviced every year, had the dpf fluid changed fairly recently, has a variety of runs, distance and short trips

I'm hoping you can help me once again.
This time my husbands Berlingo 2009 1.6 TD.
It has a brake judder issue on the foot pedal when braking. We have a decent code reader which is recognising an ABS fault (coherance problem) on the front right side and we have a sensor on order but as we've had the sensor go on the front left previously...

Brake judder can be caused by problems with the rear brakes as well as the front ones. I had this on a Maxi and it was wear in a rear brake drum.

Rather than just replacing the discs the runout should have been checked with a dial gauge as well as on the new ones installed to make sure it is within spec.

The passenger wing mirror on my Citroen DS5 is no longer working. The motor still makes a noise but the mirror won't move. I've moved it manually, but don't want to do that too much and cause more damage.

So we had a heatwave, no problem, the car can handle it. WRONG!!!! Driving to pick my daughter up from school I lost acceleration and heard a hissing noise, I pulled over, popped the bonnet and just normal engine noise even when revving, so I carried on. Ablue is for nox reduction and consists of the adblue tank (with built in pump), injector (into exhaust) and NOX sensor to monitor NOX and adjust adblue injection rate.
