Difference between SMEG & SMEG+

Post by Tahir »

I have 2016 C4GP. Ive already retrofitted a NAC to. It came fitted with a SMEG system.

Forgive me if its been asked a gazillion times before. What is the difference between the 2 systems. SMEG & SMEG+

I know there are hardware differences on the unit itself. But on the 7" screen what visible difference is there?

Say if I was to pick up a SMEG+ (2014 date code) from a C4 Picasso, would it be a straight swap apart from the VIN coding..

Thank you in advance.

In answer to your question, maybe. Navigation won't function if your car doesn't have the requisite aerials or cabling. CarPlay may not work either or may require some further configuration apart from the VIN.
