I can't see why you would want to do this, the NG4 is far more superior IMO. DVD Playback, less prone to failure, Internal Phone as well as Bluetooth, etc. But yes, they both require Hi Res screens. You'll also have a hole to fill, but more importantly, if you currently have the services module installed, then you may have some issues as a lot of the connections first go to the services module before the NG4.

I have one more problem with ng4 (no visible satelits), i find samo topics on forum and they say that only replacing gps antenna wouldn't solve the problem.

The NG4 Navidrive 3D and the RT6 require Hi Res Screens. So your existing one should suffice. I simply used an SD Card and copied all my music onto this and inserted that into the NG4 front SD card slot. Perfect and better quality than bluetooth streaming IIRC.

As for the satellites issue - usually it is the aerial. Water gets in via the roof mounting and corrodes the electronics. Buy a cheap GPS aerial with FAKRA connector and plug this into the unit in place of the existing aerial. Mount the receiver on the dash temporarily and then go for a 10 minute drive. You cannot test this with the vehicle stationary as the system needs to lock onto the satellites when the car is moving.

If you then start to get satellites back, then you know it is your aerial. If not, then it may be the internal GPS tuner.
