Hi!
This is my first post on the forums and I have very little knowledge in these French cars, had a Peugeot back in the days tho.
Well to the issue with our Citroen C5 from 2009, the hydraulic suspension system only works occasionally like 1 time out of 20 all the other times it doesn't lift, flat like a toad. I have oil, all the fuses are OK and no visible leaks, no codes except from " suspension faulty max 90km/h" The strange thing is that it just started from one day to another, sure we had very cold weather when the problems started but still... where should I start?
Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Citroën C5 suspension issues
I suspect the pump is the problem, I have read quite a few posts re problems on X7 it seems that the brush area in the pump can get all choked up with carbon and oil mix (from overfil or bad filling tank just above).
My X7 did the same last week and blew it's 40amp maxifuse, I have replaced fuse and all ok now, if it happens again I am going to clean the pump engine (appartley easy job with brake cleaner.

Re: Citroën C5 suspension issues
My C5 did the exact same thing.
The probelm was the electrical connector that suplies the pump with electricity.
It was really stuck and rusted (possibly fused to the pins of the pump because of poor contact). Today I finally managed to take it out after some 3-4 attempts in different days.
Cleaned the contacts as well as I could and now everyting is working.
Hope this helps
