I think I might just chuck my non-functioning vci in the bin, so which one should I go for to replace it?

Personally speaking, I wouldn't buy mine from an unknown source. I would rather pay a bit more and know I’m getting a decent clone than taking a chance on one of these from eBay. It’s a matter of choice and budget though of course.
